MITCalc - Tolerances

MITCalc - Tolerances 1.13 is a program for engineering and industrial calculations for your day-to-day work. The calculation includes tables and calculations for fitting of machine parts and to determine their dimensional tolerances. It includes design and check calculations for gear, belt, bearings, chain drives, springs, bolt connection, beam, shafts, tolerances and many more. The data, procedures, algorithms and specialized literature are used in the calculations.

MITCalc is designed in Microsoft Excel which supports imperial and metric units. You can make further modifications or user extensions without any significant need for expert knowledge. MITCalc supports multi-language and simple interconnection of individual parts between calculations or tables. You can easily customize a solution to any specific job you need.

MITCalc - Tolerances is a reliable, precise and quick guide for the design of components without any professional skills required. The straightforward and fully comprehensive user interfaces with the “expert notes” system and complex on-line help and allows you to be more productive.

This calculation includes tables and calculations for easy option of fits of machine parts and determination of their
dimensional tolerances and deviations. Application is developed in MS Excel, is multi-language, supports Imperial
and Metric units and solves the following main tasks:
- Selection of suitable fits of machine parts according to the international standard ISO 286.
- Determination of dimensional tolerances and deviations of machine parts according to the international standard
ISO 286.
- Selection of preferred fits of machine parts and determination of their dimensional tolerances and deviations
according to ANSI B4.1.
- Determination of non-prescribed limit deviations of linear and angular dimensions according to ISO 2768.
- Automatic design of a fit for the given clearance or fit interference respectively.
The data, procedures, algorithms and specialized literature and standards ANSI, ISO, DIN and others were used in
the calculations.
